Make the switch to Gateway and we can help you link your existing direct debits and/or credits to your new Everyday Savings or eMax Saver Account.
Step 1 - Membership
If you are not currently an existing Member you will need to complete the Gateway Membership Process.
Step 2 – Account Selection and Application
Choose between an Everyday Savings or eMax Saver account and complete the appropriate application form.
Step 3 – Collect your Direct Debit/Credit Information
Contact your current Financial Institution and request a list of your direct debits and/or direct credits.
Step 4 – Switch your Direct Debits/Credits to Gateway
Simply fill in a Switch to Gateway form for each Direct Debit/Credit and forward them to us by mail or fax and we will do the rest.
Or if you prefer to take care of this yourself you can contact each company. You may like to use our Direct Debits or Direct Credits letter templates to help you notify relevant companies of your new account details and forward them by mail or post.
We do not recommend closing your account until you are sure all of your direct debits and credits have been successfully transferred to Gateway.
1. Gateway Credit Union Ltd will act on your “Switch to Gateway” form only when and if it is received fully complete and signed.
2. Gateway Credit Union Ltd is not responsible nor has control over any delay, oversight and/or errors which may arise in processing the request “Switch to Gateway” forms by the recipients (third parties) to update your direct debits and/or direct credits. We recommend that you confirm these requests have been completed with the relevant companies we have forwarded the form to on your behalf.
3. The letter templates are provided solely for your convenience in case you may like to use them to notify relevant companies yourself via mail/fax.
