eTree is an initiative set up by our business partners Computershare, in conjunction with Landcare Australia. For every Gateway member who turns off paper statements and switches to e-Statements via Online Banking, we will donate $1 to Landcare for a range of reforestation projects across Australia.

Gateway Credit Union Supports Credit Union Foundation Australia (CUFA) with an annual donation. CUFA develops community access to affordable financial services for disadvantaged communities of the South East Asia and Pacific regions.

In 2008, Gateway participated in the CUFA Leadership Challenge by sending staff member James Tanios to Cambodia for 12 days. He taught the value of saving to children in villages and assisted in training the local Credit Union leaders. Learn more about this initiative.
